A short sensitization programme on RTI Act was conducted

Gangtok, 12 April: A short sensitization programme on RTI Act was conducted by Sikkim Information Commission at Harkamaya College and Damber Singh College at 6th Mile Tadong on 11 April.

The programme was attended by Shri JD Bhutia Secretary Sikkim Information Commission,Deputy Secretary Abinash Rai,Legal Officer Tshering choden Bhutia,Director Harkamaya and Damber Singh College,Principal,faculties and students.

The resource person Shri Abinash Rai Deputy Secretary gave a detailed insight on RTI Act and rule followed by Smt Tshering Choden Bhutia on legal aspects of RTI.An interactive session was held which saw active participation from students and faculty members.
