Awareness programme on My Mobile-My Bank -My wallet-registration by NYK

Gangtok, 9 December: Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK ) Gangtok ,Ministry of Youth  Affairs & Sports ,Govt of India, organized an Awareness programme on My Mobile-My Bank -My wallet-registration at Shram Bhavan today.This was done in collaboration with  Apparel Training  Designing centre (ATDC) Gangtok. Mr.Nabin Kumar Naik ,State Director, 

Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan(NYKS)  and  Principal ATDC ,Mr Sanjib Kumar Rout were present on the occasion.  Around 30 people attended the programme. Lectures, PowerPoint presentation and videos were highlight of the programme.

Speaking on the occasion State director NYKS Mr.Nabin Kumar Naik said that we need to move with time and embrace the current opportunity to become Digital  to fight against corruption. He further added that mobile banking is easy, convenient and also makes the economy transparent. He also requested the people to  support the Governments initiative to go cashless. At the end,Mr.Nayak demonstrated to the people how can we use our mobile phones as our wallets and urged people to spread the awareness among other people about mobile banking.

While Principal ATDC Mr. Sanjib Kumar Rout emphasized on the urgency to spread awareness among people who don't understand mobile banking. He said we can end the chaos in the country if more and more people switch to mobile banking
