A preparedness meeting for the 70th Independence Day celebration was held at the chamber of DC South

Namchi, 23rd July: A preparedness meeting for the 70th Independence Day celebration was held at the chamber of DC South today. The meeting was chaired by DC South Mr. Raj Yadav , present during the meeting was SP south Mr. Tenzing Loden Lepcha, HoDs and staff from various departments. 

Addressing, the meeting the DC spoke about the significance of Independence Day celebration. He also urged the attendees to work collectively and in coordination in order to make the Independence Day celebration a successful one. 

Additionally DC also allocated various roles and responsibilities to respective departments for I-day celebration. He also laid down the line of events scheduled for the I-day celebration and announced that the march past practices would commence from 3rd August onwards.
