The Co-ordination Meeting with the Companies of Mamring and Samardung held
Namchi: As a follow up of the Co-ordination Meeting with the Companies of Mamring and Samardung in the District Headquarters, SDM,Namchi Mr.Bimal C.Rai conducted an interactive meeting with the Heads/ Representatives of all Companies of Mamring,Samardung and Jholungay in the Training Hall of Zydus Wellness at Mamring today.
The meeting was attended by DE,Namthang and AEs of Namthang and Rangpo Divisions of Power & Energy Department;AE and JE,Roads & BridgesDepartment ;Town Planner(S/W),UD&HD;BDO,Namthang; Panchayats of Mamring and Members of Mamring Development Society.
The issues taken up for action are:1.Beautification of Mamring area through collaborative participation of private Companies..construction of footpath with street lights along one side of the existing road.The Companies would start work once design and estimates are provided to them.AE and JE Roads have been directed to prepare the same on the basis of today's field verification.Street lights would be preferably solar.2.
Uninterrupted and dedicated power supply to Companies:DE and AEs present during meeting explained the initiative of Power Department for upgrading the supply line of Melli to 11/11 KV double circuit at the earliest and also the initiative to set up a dedicated 66/11 KV Swithyard at Samardung for which the Companies have already committed to provide land for the same.3.Security at construction sites:Regarding this issue,the Police personnel of Mamring OP explained their initiatives and Panchayats have also explained their initiative for increasing the strength of the Mamring OP.4.Micro Lab has been directed to decrese the decibal of sound emitted by their siren in the light of public complaint.5.
Green Mission to be initiated by all Companies in consultation with the Panchayats.Panchayats have been requested to arrange saplings from Forest Department and also to identify areas for mass plantation.SDM,Namchi later also visited the disputed site of Aishwarya Health Care in the presence of the land owner and found that cultivators have been compensated sufficiently by the land owner and that their complaint against registration of Lease Deed does not hold good.
