Sikkim Judicial Academy organised a programme on Juvenile Justice

Gangtok: The Sikkim Judicial Academy organised a programme on Issue relating to Juvenile Justice under the juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 2015 with special referance to child adoption, for principal Magistrates LLBs, members LLBs and Layers on panel of SLSA held on 25th june 2016 at Sikkim Judicial Academy, High Court Premises, Gangtok .

The programme was organised under the guidance of  Honorable justice Smt Meenakshi M. Rai, Judge High Court of Sikkim and the president of Sikkim Judicial Academy. Ms. Geetanjali Goel, Director, National Legal Service Authority was the Resource person for the above programme.

The main purpose of the organizing above programme was to sensitize above stakeholders of Juvenile Justice system on care, protection , rehabilitation, child adoption  and legal provisions as prescribed in the Juvenile Justice(Care& Protection of Children) Act 2015
