Health Minister Mr Ghatani visit DKK Bhawan at New Delhi today

Gangtok/New Delhi: State Health Minister Mr A.K. Ghatani paid a visit to DKK Bhawan at Green Park, New Delhi today and met with the patients and their wards lodged at the facility.

The Minister also met the concerned nurses and care-takers and took stock of the services provided. The Minister expressed his satisfaction over the functioning of the Bhawan.The Minister also announced medical aid and assured immediate transfer of fund under the MMJRK (Mukhya Mantri Jeevan Raksha Kosh) for the BPL patients undergoing treatment.

He also met with all the patients including cancer patients and assured them all the possible help from the Government. The Minister while interacting with the patients and their wards stated that the State Government under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Pawan Chamling has initiated several facilities for the patients from Sikkim undergoing treatment outside the State.

The Minister also directed the concerned authorities to ensure proper maintenance of these facilities.
