IPR Minister AK Ghatani inaugurated Free Coaching class organised by ASSCWA

December: The All Sikkim Scheduled Caste Welfare Association (ASSCWA) has
organised two months long Free Coaching Classes for the Students of Class X and
XII those who are appearing for the Board examination in March 2017.
The Free
Coaching class was officially inaugurated by the IPR Minister AK Ghatani Yesterday at Tadong.
The
Coaching is being organised at the SC Girls Hostel situated at Daragoan,
Tadong.
The main
objective of organising such free coaching classes for the board apprearing
students is to help those who wish to undergo coaching but couldn’t afford and
for those under privileged students informed the president ASSCWA, Shekhar
Sewa.
He said
that the student who are undergoing the free coaching will prove that free
coaching are also qualitative and in worth undergoing this coaching he added.
The chief
guest of the function minister AK Ghatani while addressing the gathering said
that to take full advantage of this free coaching and collect all knowledge
provided during the coaching.
He thanked
the organiser for organising such coaching classes for the under privilege
childrens. He said that the present government and the chief minister is more
focused on qualitative education and providing free education till graduation
level. He also highlighted on the other schemes for the students initiated by
the government.
He urged
students not to gain education for degree but to gain real knowledge. He also
urged student to maintain discipline during whole process of coaching class and
cooperate with the teachers involved and take full advantages of the best
teacher available during the coaching classes.
The ASSCWA
has introduced Free coaching class not only for the Scheduled Students but it
is open for all students of any cast and
religion. This is the
first time any association has organised free coaching classes without any
caste and religion limitation.
Presently
there are 46 students taking benefit of free coaching from all corners of four
districts. The students includes 31 for class XII and 15 for class X. 21 girls
and 25 boys all together. This total number includes 4 students of other non SC
category also.
Director,
Primary Education, HRDD, Bhim thatal while in his address shared motivational
talk and informed about the various scholarship schemes and other benefits that
the state government is providing for the students.
The
inauguration function had the presence of Advisor ASSWCA BM Ramudamu, Members
of the association and other officials. The member
of the association IK Rasaily also addressed the gathering.
Purna
Bahadur Lohar a Class XII student from Tashiding in West Sikkim said that they
are satisfied and happy for the association having organised this free coaching
classes for the under privileged. He said that this coaching will surely
benefit the students of all community.
Srijana
Lamgaday and Rekha Lamgaday a Class XII and class X students from Rhenock in
east Sikkim has expressed happiness for undergoing this coaching camp and said
that this will benefit the students and increase confidence in them they added.
“We are
thankful to the association and this kind of coaching will not only help us for
preparing for our board examination but will also help us to learn other skills
also” – said a XII student of Deorali Girls School, Gangtok, Shipora Ramudamu.
